My ISP (Internet service provider) wanadoo gave me a Sagem Fast 800 E4 usb modem. Thanks to the help and adivces of eagle-us forum I have installed new driver on mandriva.

Installation

To be able to install the modem driver as explained by http://dev.eagle-usb.org/wakka.php?wiki=SagemFast800E4Testing. "make" and "gcc" packages need to be installed so as to compile the linux kernel
