(draft)
Objectives
We (at eagle-usb.org) are willing to work with Analog in order to provide the end-user with a working driver for their modems based on
EagleUsb chipset.
We have identified :
- short terms requirements : making the driver work for Sagem Fast 800 E3
- longer terms requirement : mainly achieve an agreement on licencing the driver for distribution, implementation time-line have to be determined
Proposals
We believe that a collaborative work with Sagem and Analog and eagle-usb.org will benefit all of us, for end-user's sake.
We understand that Analog currently releases the driver for free use.
- Some points have to be discussed about licencing though. Identifying co-worker representing Analog for each RequirementsGPL? will simplify the process
- a merge of code could be achieved as our driver is GPL as well
- we can suggest enhancements on your websites and you can (freely) use the following pages we've made :
Statement of work
(to be validated)
- ADI accepts to use our public mailing-list for technical exchanges
- ADI validates list of functionalities and makes comments
- Both : identify how to merge and work together later on
